Reenergized!

I found this week to have been great for my original work as I was able to have a conversation with Mr. Pirtle about my progress. I was kind of at a crossroads on how to continue with my work because I had finished most of the work but felt it was still too short. He encouraged me to add more graphs and visuals to make it easier for the readers, which really helped in opening up more topics to explore. I was able to find a bunch of graphs that really helped deepen my paper and even decided to add a section on industry and how the mental health of workers has been affected by the stress of work. I am hoping to add a couple more sections, then I will have my English teacher and a few others look over the paper to see if there are any corrections to make!

Along with this, I had another mentor meeting with my mentor Dr.Uddin, which is always an enjoyable time for me. I was able to ask him more questions I had over various topics in psychiatry and even asked him about the day in his life as a psychiatrist. I found it ironic that I had not asked him this earlier as the day-to-day operations is something I have always been curious about but I found his answers to be very interesting. As Original Work starts to come to an end, I have been trying to do more of my own research into psychiatry to learn more about the field and find topics that my mentor and I can discuss.
